With GRAIDWARE®, our modular middleware solution, you can create end-to-end transparency in intralogistics. By integrating RFID technology, goods movements are automatically recorded, processes are visualized and bottlenecks are detected at an early stage.

The central functions at a glance

GRAIDWARE® automatically records every material movement along the internal logistics chain via RFID gates and readers. This includes incoming goods, storage areas, production stations through to dispatch or rejects. Every status change is immediately registered in the middleware and assigned to the corresponding object.

GRAIDWARE® defines logical production zones (e.g. waiting area, assembly, test bay) and automatically measures the time objects spend in these areas and the time they take to pass through them. The middleware continuously evaluates these movement patterns.

Initial situation

Our customer in the automotive industry had difficulties ensuring the traceability of components in production. This led to inefficient processes and an increased error rate, as it was difficult to identify the origin of problems in the supply chain.

Our solution

The implementation of GRAIDWARE with the Track & Trace system made it possible to use RFID technology to monitor the movement of components within the production facility. By integrating RFID gates at strategic points, the customer was able to track and analyze the movement of goods in real time.
